Josh was born and raised in northern Utah and became involved with theatre at an early age. He earned a BFA in Theatre (Design) from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and went on to study at Southern Methodist University in Dallas on a Meadows Scholarship, recently receiving his MFA in Stage Design.

His work has been seen around the country. He designs for theatre, opera, dance, concerts, and other events.

Josh is currently based in New York City and works as the Managing Lighting Director for The Lighting Design Group, Inc. at CNN's New York Studios.
